We, the family members of the Catholic Diocese of Tanga in Tanzania, would like to welcome relatives and friends from all over the world to fully be connected to our website. Our goal is to increase the capacity of knowing each other and continue to collaborate closely as God's own children. We have made the effort to collect as much information as possible to craft the identity of our diocese and share it with you. Navigating through the pages of this website, you will be able to know the history of our diocese past and present as well as the current composition of the diocese including her various institutions, personnel, diocesan structures, and our vibrant lay community. Since our diocese continues to grow up everyday, some pages will be updated periodically. Don't hesitate to revisit the site to learn more of our diocese. This website is one of a handful tools of evangelization to the people and friends of our diocese in Tanga as well as over and beyond the geographical boundaries of our diocese. This tool is intended to connect us with everyone in our efforts to live and share the Gospel of Christ until Our Lord comes back in glory.

Please don't be bashful to navigate it and be open to share your opinions and suggestions with us. Your opinions count. When you need to get in-touch with our diocese and her various institutions and individuals, the website provides you with contact information to where you want to be connected. We have tried to provide you with available e-mail and postal addresses as well as telephone numbers. Our goal is to help you be connected to wherever you want to be connected when you want to be connected with us. The creation of the Catholic Diocese of Tanga website has been a response to join the wider world community through world-wide-web (www) community, the technology which has shrunken the world into a small village. As members of this global village, we benefit a lot in knowing other the wellbeing of other villagers and thus obligate us to make ourselves known to them in our effort to build up the Kingdom of God here on earth as it is in heaven. The creation and the existence of this website is the outcome the efforts from of our bishop and the generosity of our priests and lay people both in and outside the diocese. This website has become a village market place where all the villagers are able to meet and share their stories and visions.

Please welcome and enjoy this website. It is your website!
